Kim Raines DNP, RN, CRNP, AG-ACNP, CCRN is an assistant professor at Penn State University, the Behrend campus. She has nearly 30 years in nursing and has been certified in critical care for 17 years. She is entering her third year of teaching full time and has nearly ten years of experience in teaching clinicals. She received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Penn State and her clinical doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.
Kim’s special area of focus has been sepsis at all points of care. Kim has designed and implemented two successful hospital wide quality improvement projects on her topic of interest and has been published related to this work.
